Friday night before we left for the beach went to check on the ferrets couldn't find Gwenie.. she was in the middle hanging bag with the like half the gang on top of her. I think they knew she was gone they were just trying to keep her warm. She had gone blind we are pretty sure and her back legs had started to give out some. she was still eating and drinking. I had given her a bit extra food and water to help her out. It was kinda of fast. She was around 9 so it was here time I guess. Just sad. At least it was me that found her and not Frank when he came to check on them Saturday. I took care of her and told her good bye. Not a fun way to start the weekend. We did see a rainbow on the way to the beach.. actually almost a double one, Guess it was Gwenie's way of saying its ok Dad I am at the Rainbow Bridge with everyone else and we are having fun. So good bye Gwenie.. Dad's little girl....
so now we are down to 5 boys and one girl.. the next new ones will be girls..

busy weekend.. went to the beach. .have to work monday.. Planted mom's Garden at the beach. Did catch Star Trek. Very good!!!! trailers for GI Joe and Transformers look GREAT!

One of our ferrets Podo died today. We got him from a family in Jan. Their daughter became allergic to the ferrets. He was a very loving boy. I am sure his brother Kodo will miss him. They were named before we got them. We have never had any ferrets named after the Breastmaster ferrets in the 15 years we have had ferrets. He had sick and I thought he was turning the corner he started eating more this week. This morning he didn't eat as much as he normally had and when we got home from work he wasn't good at all. When I went to feed him he had stopped fighting it. I kept him with me until he passed away. I am sure the rest of my ferrets met him at the Rainbow Bridge.

Well Podo went back to not eating.. trying to get him to eat whatever he will... I don't think he will make it much longer.. that makes 4 in a year.. so hard and we just got him in Jan........ Sofie even knows something is up.....So please keep him in your prayers.. I am sure he will be going over the Rainbow bridge soon to met all the other ferrets....

It seems that all post here lately is passing of my ferrets. Had to take Morgan to the vet Friday. He had lost a third of his weight a ton of fluids and did not respond to treatment. I got f the vet on my way home, Morgan would probably not make it though the night so I told her to wait for me and I turned around and got there before they closed. (she said they were way busy anyway and would wait on me to get there)She was right it was like 6:20 when she got to come see me. They got Morgan to me about 15 mins before that. He tired to fight for me as my animal thing seems to always kick in big time when they are near the end. Like its their way of saying Thanks Dad, I know you love me......I told him good bye and it was over.... I know he is in a better place but it still hurts....
Vic and I were invited to a Rock Band party Friday night so we met to grab dinner and go to the party...(as we were way behind getting to the party now) took me awhile to really get in the mood to play... I played a few songs one on the hardest level.. I played on easy. but I got though it with like a 60 plus note string and 92 % played which I figured was good.
on another side not I posted pics from the hoops for hope 2009 the fund raiser game for Breast Cancer this year with all the money it was almost 400,000 in donations, action, and ticket sells. The tickets sales and auction were over 91,000 so that is really good. We won the warm up suit from Last years Hoops for hope(Vic was so totally happy we won it), a t shirt with one of Coach Yow's sayings on it, a cookbook Coach Jimmy V wrote, a signed Canes Jersey with 2 tickets lower level to a game with a Canes cup, Canes Bag, a Canes Care t shirt and a Stuff Stormy. We got the tickets in the mail today. Really good ones. About the middle of the end zone with both of our good cameras we should get some really good pictures.

Jason and MS Lee got here... the Taylors.. were sick... and couldn't get here...
Everyone liked the decorations.. I heard many people saying.. I don't remember that from last year.... one group of kids got here at almost 9 the dad told me we love your house we had to get here tonight

Cheerio passed away today. She had had Adrenal Disease but had seem to be responding to treatment. She made it a year and half after we first discovered the problem. We had her about 3 and 1/2 years she was given up by her owner. She was Dad's girl and loved belly rubs and giving me kisses.. I guess its true what they say that things come in threes since she is the 3rd baby we have lost this year....

this afternoon I had to say good bye to my baby girl. Leia's kidneys stopped working and we had to put her to sleep.. She fought it to the end acting like she was going to get better. I will miss her terrible as she was my baby. We had thought her lungs would be the ones to get her before her kidneys did. If anyone wants to do something in mer memory a donation to your local shelter will be good. If you have a pet make sure you hug them today.
I did a longer rambling post on my myspace for those of you on that list.
